Circuit of Longstone Edge Hilly TT - 2010
Why?
Ok, this is a tough little course for sure, but it's rideable. Not as long as the Buxton or Matlock events but just as varied and with steadier climbs, there is something for everyone here. It will take a seasoned tester to measure their effort from the start on a climb to make sure they don't blow early.
The big gear riders get to have some fun descending to Wardlow and also on the very fast run from Taddington to Ashford.
The skinny guys can rip it up on the climb of Miller's Dale, not too long or steep but just enough of both that a misjudged effort at the bottom can easily cost 20 or 30 seconds.
From Ashford to the finish is roadie's territory, undulating on the big ring with a steady rise up the last 1/2 mile.
So, why should you ride?
